Dalell Diane Mohmed left the corporate and public sector to volunteer for the relief effort to Kosovo in 1999 and never looked back. Working in both man-made and natural disasters Ms. Mohmed has worked in Albania, Bosnia, Chechnya, Greece, Kosovo, Lebanon, Malawi, Palestine, Syria, and Turkey focusing on the fundamental rights of children health, education, shelter, and nutrition. Ms. Mohmed has written articles and participated in numerous conferences addressing issues that face children in areas of war and occupation. She is co-founder of KinderUSA, which is dedicated to improving the lives of Palestinian children and other children in crisis through development and emergency relief. Beginning her professional career with the U.S. Dept. of State, Ms. Mohmed holds a BA in Political Science, an MA in International Relations, and a Mst. in International Humanitarian Law with certification in Conflict Resolution and Mediation.
