You’ll be picked up from your Arenal hotel and travel west toward the beaches of southern Guanacaste. Along the way, watch the landscape transform—from lush jungle to sun-drenched hills and tropical dry forest—while your guide shares insight into Costa Rica’s ecosystems, volcanic terrain, and rich sabanero culture. Keep an eye out for wildlife like iguanas and coatis along the route.

Midway, we’ll pause at Llanos de Cortés Waterfall. A short, shaded walk leads to a stunning cascade pouring into a calm, sandy-bottomed pool. Swim, wade, or simply take it all in—this is one of those places that feels untouched. Enjoy fresh tropical fruit and a cold drink before continuing on.

By mid-afternoon, you’ll arrive at your beachside hotel or villa, ready to settle in and shift into coastal mode.

Head to Flamingo Marina, where you’ll board the sleek Panache Catamaran. As you set sail along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast, the crew welcomes you with tropical cocktails and an easy, relaxed vibe.

From the front of the boat, keep watch for dolphins, sea turtles, and even whales as you take in the coastline. There’s time to jump in for snorkeling or kayaking in the warm Pacific waters, or simply stay on deck and soak it all in.
