Greg was previously clerk to the Honorable William B. Wombacher, Illinois Appellate Court, Third District from 1985-1986. Entering private practice in Chicago, Greg became a partner with Garofalo Schreiber Hart & Storm Chtd. and a member of the Law Offices of Edward J. Kozel, which was Staff Counsel for CNA. Since 2015, he has been a Mediator with Pretrial Solutions of Louisiana.
He received his undergraduate degree in 1981 from Boston College and his JD in 1984 from Loyola University of Chicago. He is a member of both the Illinois and Wisconsin bars. He is also admitted to practice before several federal courts including the United States Supreme Court.
Greg has extensive experience, litigating numerous cases before the Office of Workers Compensation Programs, the Office of Administrative Law Judges, and the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission, He has also served as counsel of record in those matters before various courts of appeals and administrative appellate boards.
Greg has been a lecturer before the Peoria County Bar Association, the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and the Longshore Claims Association. Greg recently retired as a Division 1 college football referee, officiating games in both the Mid-America and Big 10 conferences.
