12 CLE hours total Destination CLEs
This is a combined travel + CLE experience (Eduvacation℠).
Airfare is not included with your registration—you’ll arrange your flights separately. If you’d like help with air planning, ideal arrival times, or the best ways to fly into Providenciales International Airport (PLS), just let us know!
A valid passport is required to enter Turks & Caicos. Many countries require passports to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates—confirm your specific requirements with the Turks & Caicos Immigration Department or the U.S. State Department before departure.
(Traveler tip: Carry a printed copy of your passport ID page separate from your passport.)
Travel protection is not included in your trip price. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers medical, trip cancellation/interruption, and baggage protection well before departure. We will offer you this insurance and you have the option to waive protection.
Transportation from Providenciales International Airport (PLS) to the resort will be provided on the official arrival and departure dates. Detailed instructions—including the meeting point, transportation times, and what to do if your flight is delayed—will be sent prior to departure.
If you have any questions before or during your trip, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. I’m here to make your experience smooth and enjoyable.
For your safety and peace of mind, I also recommend leaving my contact information—along with your travel itinerary—with a trusted family member or friend at home. This ensures that someone can reach you (or me) if needed while you’re away.

Turks & Caicos is generally safe for travelers, but standard precautions apply. Be mindful of your belongings in public areas, avoid leaving valuables unattended on the beach or by pools, and stay aware of your surroundings when off-resort. Violent crime is rare, though petty theft can occur in busy tourist areas.
Health-wise, stay well hydrated, use sun protection, and be cautious with ocean activities by following posted safety flags and local guidance. It’s strongly recommended that you carry travel insurance covering medical emergencies, as medical services can be limited and costly. Always carry your passport—or a copy of it—while exploring.

During the 2026 Turks & Caicos CLE trip, casual, comfortable clothing is recommended for travel days, CLE sessions, and resort activities. Swimwear, tank tops, and shorts are appropriate at the pool, beach, or water-based activities, but not in indoor dining or CLE session areas.
Smart-casual attire is suitable for dinners, evening events, and networking functions. A dressier outfit is optional for specialty resort restaurants or themed evenings. Light cover-ups or wraps are recommended for sun protection or cooler indoor areas.
Hats, sandals, and sunglasses are perfect for outdoor activities, while closed-toe shoes may be helpful for excursions or walking tours.
It is recommended to bring some U.S. dollars for tipping, small purchases, or incidental expenses during excursions. Converting $200–$500 USD is usually sufficient for most travelers, though larger amounts are optional. ATMs are available on Providenciales, but cash is handy for resort tips, taxis, and small vendors.
Currency Name: U.S. Dollar (USD) | Symbol: $
Cash: Useful for tipping housekeeping, concierge, excursions, or small on-island purchases. Carry smaller denominations ($1, $5, $10) for convenience.
ATMs: Available on Providenciales; most accept international debit and credit cards.
Credit Cards: Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted at resorts, restaurants, and shops. Still, having some cash is recommended for small purchases or excursions outside the resort.
Currency Exchange: Most visitors use U.S. dollars directly. Some banks or hotels may offer exchange services if needed, but rates are generally less favorable than using cash or credit.
Wi‑Fi & Cellular in Turks & Caicos
Wi‑Fi: Widely available at hotels, resorts, restaurants, and cafés, including Beaches Turks & Caicos. Reliability is excellent on Providenciales, but signal may be weaker on remote beaches or small cays.
Local SIM/eSIM: Available at Providenciales International Airport, local shops, or online for data, calls, and texting. A passport is required to purchase a SIM.
Roaming: Most home carrier plans work, but international roaming charges can be high. Consider a local SIM or global roaming plan for cost savings.
Pocket Wi‑Fi: Optional for multiple devices; convenient but more expensive than a local SIM.
Traveler Tip: Download offline maps and apps before arrival, and ensure your phone is unlocked if planning to use a local SIM.
Turks & Caicos is friendly, relaxed, and welcoming to visitors. Polite greetings, a smile, and “please” and “thank you” go a long way. Dress is casual at resorts but modest clothing is appreciated if visiting local communities. Tipping is customary for hotel staff, restaurant servers, and tour guides. Respect the environment by using reef-safe sunscreen, disposing of trash properly, and following local guidelines for marine and wildlife activities.
