The Best Mediterranean Cruise 2022 for Lawyers

Not surprisingly, lawyers are often prone to burnout because of the long hours they usually commit to their jobs. Plus, when you factor in the other demands of life such as family, social circles, and having to complete continuing legal education courses, it’s no wonder so many attorneys have their hands full. That’s why taking an Eduvacation℠ is so important! With Destination CLEs, lawyers can get their much needed CLE credit hours while on a relaxing vacation—including a luxury cruise—with their family, friends, or colleagues. Here’s what’s in store for you with our Mediterranean Cruise 2022!

What to Expect on Our Mediterranean Cruise 2022

With this CLE cruise, you can expect eight days of gorgeous sights, fresh seafood, ancient history, and world-class learning experiences while sailing along the Mediterranean Sea. During this trip with Princess Cruise Lines, you can expect to earn twelve 60-minute hours of CLEs, too! Here’s what each day will look like:

Day 1: Athens, Greece

Embark on the port of Piraeus, located in the ancient city of classical Athens. But not before going for immersive experiences like hop-on hop-off bus sightseeing tours, museum tours in Mikrolimano, or excursions in the Saronic Gulf Islands. Then get ready to see the turquoise splendor of the Greek Isles.

Day 2: Santorini, Greece

The volcanic island of Santorini, Greece is your next stop in the multiple ports of call on this exciting Mediterranean cruise. Among the Greek islands, Santorini is best known for its fantastic views, extraordinary sunsets as seen from Oia town, and even a whimsical, white eggplant famous for its sweet and juicy taste.

Day 3: CLE topics on Ethics and Social Media

Your 3rd day will be spent on discussions on the ethical rules for social media, networking, negotiations, and gathering evidence through the use of social platforms. The speakers for this day will be Clifford Scott-Rudnick, Esq., Carol Schiro Greenwald, Ph.D., Carol Levitt, Esq., and Mark Rosch.

Day 4: Kotor, Montenegro

Located in the south of the Atlantic, Montenegro is your next stop. Your day will start with a beautiful view of the Adriatic coast. Here, you can feast your eyes on the spectacular views of the city and bay of Kotor in San Giovanni Fortress, wander aimlessly in the alleys and streets of the Old Town, and end your day with the fantastic food offered at the Tanjga Family Restaurant. Luckily, Kotor is much less crowded than the magnificently preserved walled city of Dubrovnik.

Day 5: Sicily, Italy

Next, we’ll dock at Messina, Sicily’s main entryway and one of the most historic ports of Italy. This is the best time to visit Taormina and tour the theater filled with the ancient past of Greece. As the second largest theater in Sicily, the Greek theater of Taormina has hosted award ceremonies, ballets, symphonies, operas, and concerts. Taormina also boasts of pristine beaches with blue waters like Isola Bella, Lido Copacabana, and Lido La Dolce Vita.

Day 6: Naples, Italy

Your next stop will be Naples, Italy where Castel Nouvo is situated. This castle boasts of its well-preserved medieval architecture. History buffs will equally enjoy the Historic Centre of Naples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you want to check out the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City, you can take a 2-hour train ride for a quick visit. Or you can also travel for about 1.5 hours by train to Rome’s monumental Colosseum for a closer look. Don’t forget to sample the fine flavors of Italy while you’re here—pizza, pasta, gelato, and of course, wine!

Day 7: CLE topics on Conflict Management, People Skills, and Client Solicitation

On day 7, you’ll have the opportunity to earn those needed CLE credits and get in the know with returning speaker Carol Schiro Greenwald, Ph.D. about Rule 7.2, Communications Concerning a Lawyer’s Services, and Rule 7.3, Solicitation of Clients. Plus, Nancy Nolin, Esq. will also discuss enhancing your people skills. Next, for the management of high conflict cases and disputes, Megan Hunter, MBA will focus on the practice of conflict management.

Day 8: Barcelona, Spain

For our final day on this glorious trip, we’ll land in the stunning city of Barcelona, Spain. Here, you’ll get the chance to fall in love with the Spanish culture through their food, history, and people. Witness the architectural brilliance of Antoni Gaudí through the church of Sagrada Família or enjoy some “me time” on the sun-soaked shores of Spain while witnessing the local culture. Plus, you can try out the water sports here, too! And, if you have a couple days to spare after the cruise, you can even travel to Palma de Mallorca to experience more beautiful beaches and a bustling cosmopolitan lifestyle.

No matter what, we promise your CLE vacation will be anything but boring with our Mediterranean cruise package! Whether you’re looking to get your tan on along the Spanish coast or visit historic and medieval towns, this trip has got you covered.
